Update 2019!

This year has been quite the shake up for myself and how I do things, so I’ve done a few changes to the site.

I’ve decided to shift my art gallery to only include stuff I am really proud of and love. There will be a link to a DeviantArt gallery where I upload all my drawings, however the site’s gallery will be fully curated as to keep it to a minimum. With my work situation taking a turn for the worse and being as inconsistent as it is, I am forced to reprioritize. I’ve decided to start diving into other disciplines, including going back to 3D modeling, rigging, animation, creative writing and coding. This is all in an effort to begin working on my first game project before the end of the year and expand my skills beyond the seeming dead end that has been Motion Capture, regardless of how much I enjoy doing it.

I know things have been slow, but I’m making the effort to turn things around.

Cheers!

Shifting gears!! New goals set

I've been super busy with work and life, so I haven't been able to post much. But now a new era begins! After turning 30 and some events in my life, I've been able to rethink priorities and am attempting to shift gears into working more closely on my own projects on top of the regular grind of everyday life.

I'll be focusing more on my youtube content, as well as going full on into creating my first game!! With that in mind, I'll be using my spare time to take an online course in Unity and work on my own time to create something I can be proud of. Maybe a kickstarter in the future? Who knows? But I think the time has come to make this happen. Wish me luck!

Revamped Gijinkas

After much deliberation, here come the first set of revamped Pokemon Gijinkas. Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. The latter set a new standard for the the rest of them, and now I shall remake the other ones into better pieces to match or improve on what's here. This is honestly some of the best I've drawn in ages, so let's keep the ball rolling.

Update!! July 2015

Changes and new things on the way.

I decided to rework my gallery and separate 2D and 3D works. The Portfolio section has now been split into a 2D Gallery and 3D Gallery. :D

Also, I've decided to revisit my Pokemon Gijinka I've done so far and make them a lot better. New drawings will be coming as well.

On a final note, I've started a new 3D Project. I'm currently working on a gun model and a car, so look forward to it!

Cheers!

Finally back to Drawing!

I've been wanting to do gijinkas of pokemon (that is, humanized versions). With over 700 creatures It will take time to get them all, but I'll eventually get them all done.

Bulbasaur!Looking forward to this. New drawings at a steady pace coming up.

April Update and What May come.

Bad puns aside, this is a rather short post.

April has been an incredibly difficult month for me as a big family issue started taking its toll and has forced me to engage in a part time job at a local cafe while I keep applying for a more appropriate job. This, along with other personal issues, have considerably slowed the pace of my work creating a circle of exhaustion and fatigue that I'm trying to break free from.

Now April is almost gone, and with it should go all those bad feelings. It is a time for introspection, restructuring and soul searching to find the strength to keep going and light that passion that has taken me so far already. Life is hinting at me that I've been doing something wrong and I haven't been listening until now, and so with this I aim to make May a month of change and growth. A month to become a better me, even if it means taking a step back and starting over.

I have been trying to tackle things bigger than myself, denying my own fault in the recent events surrounding my life. I kept telling myself It would be alright, I had nothing to do with it and it will go away soon. Well, no wonder I'm in a hole that keeps growing deeper. It's time to carve myself an exit, shake off the depression  and work towards my future, one small goal at a time, and in turn improve my life and those around me.

May 4th is the day I take my citizenship test to become fully Canadian. I can't think of a better refresher, an opportunity to work towards a new sense of self motivation and inspiration that I so desperately need. It's time to embrace the flow instead of paddling against it and being slammed around. I will use the tide in my favor, learn from my own mistakes and weaknesses, and pull through as I have before.

This is for me.

PD> I'm behind about 4 weeks of sketches. This will be remedied in the coming days. Looking forward to it.

Weekly Sketches 11

Original character this time.

Name's Renah. She's a shapeshifter from an ancient wood tribe. Despite her carefree demeanor she's a responsible tribe leader that can get pretty riled up under dangerous situations, fiercely loyal and honest.

Weekly Sketches 9-10

Saw a post online about hexagon fusions, so I made a challenge with some friends. I was tasked with Marvin the Martian, Alien and a bat. Ended up with a nice result. I like this creative exercises so I might do more in the future.

Weekly Sketches 8

Skin tone and face exercise!

Been doing some research and managed to put this together in a couple of hours. I like how it turned out, though it is something I definitely need to practice and improve on. More to come!

Weekly Sketches 7

A cat with a hammer. 'Nough said!

One more and I'll be caught up till Sunday. Did a bit more solid colors this time, but I definetly need to improve on fur... maybe the next one will be a furry creature then.

Weekly Sketches 6

Tried something new this week in regards to coloring, and also in desperate need to practice humans. I did each color on it's own layer, and then worked on it separately. Spend around 5 hours on this, based on my character from the new Monster Hunter 4 using a Narajala Armor. I used the in game model as reference.

More are coming the next couple of days. Catching up to the weeks I fell behind!
